My Story
I grew up in a supportive home with both my mother and father present. Like many kids, I had seasons of self-doubt — I was bullied for my skin tone and struggled at school. I felt lost and unsure of where I fit.
In high school, sport and tourism classes gave me direction. Then everything changed when I discovered the TV show Masters of Illusion. Something clicked. I bought a beginner DVD, carried a deck of cards to school, and started performing simple effects for classmates. The reactions were electric — laughter, surprise, connection. My confidence returned because magic made me engage with people.
Soon I was filming street magic with my brother, capturing real reactions: some people ran, some hugged me, everyone felt something. Word spread in my area and beyond — even when I travelled, I performed. I kept studying the craft: rehearsal, scripting, stage presence and professionalism.
Mentors shaped me — including “Uncle Black Jack” — and I trained in Johannesburg on performance and brand-building. I earned recognition for understanding magic at its core, not just the tricks but the theater and timing behind them.
Today I run Moswatii the Magician PTY LTD, delivering tailored entertainment for corporate events. Magic gives me peace and joy — especially when I see that moment of wonder on someone’s face. That feeling is why I do this.
My promise: polished, modern magic that elevates your event and leaves guests talking long after the lights go down.
